I would recommend this game, what it really needs is a free mode, where you can do your tycoon without missions, and there is a tycoon game kinda like this called transport fever, its 3D and is worth buying!

Great game. Everything is in it... Well, almost everything. You could add a competitor purchase option, to increase your empire!

Every 10 minutes, the app crash and closes. It is very annoying! Thanks to fix it asap

Sorry, i do not like iPad so much… Remember my first Transport Tycoon Box in the middle 90’s… Two 1,44’ floppy disks… Weight of average 5 mb... Was my first PC Game, was delicious and TTDX was little better… I would like a lot to play an OS X version, with a mouse and eventually a keyboard… The iPad has a so little screen and touching a screen is not my preferred interaction… Dream… Hopeless Dream ?

This game have many buggs, difficult to play, and things thats you dont understand whats happen... Dont buy... Developers need to study more... And work more...

I do prefer the OpenTTD version of this game, it has advanced features without changing its fundamentals.

Erinnert eher an Locomotion, als an TransportTycoon...

Crashs repeatedly when opening the map.

If you try to place a airport, everytime create a station but no airport. So you have some stations but no airport on same place. Thats a bug - fix it for more stars!

Amazing port of this classic to iOS. Full features and great interface. Hours of fun once you get used to the flimsy graphics. Could use a revamp and some minor bugs correction. One year since last update... please dont let it grow too old!

A great game!!! It was the first game I played more then 10 years ago and I really liked it when I found the game!!! Still it is an great game!!! Only thing I miss in the game are the maps from the "old" game! - especially there were the maps bigger and there were more cities.. If you have time I would really love to see the maps as an upload - even when I have to pay for it! Dear Chris Sawyer, You are doing a great job on creating your games it would be great if it would be possible as well too to get the old classics of roller coaster 1 or 2. Sincerely

Woohoo, first review! But in all seriousness, this game is really good, and provides an in depth sim with good controls.

This game is well made, to be just like ttd! It adds new features and improves old ones. Although it is a tad expensive.

- the iPad version is an upscaled version of the iPhone one, without any tweaks. - the graphics are in low res (pixelated) while the HUD and the UI is in high res. Its maybe the artistic direction, trying to keep the old school feel to the game... but IMO, it doesnt work. - the user interface is confusing, especially on the ipad where the space occupied by the UI is massive; you keep clicking left and right to do your selection. - At first sight it seems that they have removed the concept of Garage for the vehicules, which add a new step to the deployment of vehicules ("click to deploy here"). - Theres no easy to access Settings menu from the game. - The Game Center window keeps popping up if Im not logged. The game should remind my preference.

Great game, extremely in-depth, transport tycoon is just how I remember it. It seems a bit pricey, but this is a full PC game were talking about that you can carry around in your pocket. Dozens of hours can be spent playing, and youll never want to put it down. Definitely worth the 5 stars

*sigh* Ive been looking forward to this game for a long time. Been a big fan since it originally came out. Been trying to play it on iOS 7 and it keeps crashing on the first scenario. Whenever I lay road down it crashes. I hope its an isolated issue otherwise, my initial $7 purchase isnt well worth it right now.
